South African representatives in the CAF Champions League, Mamelodi Sundowns, have provided an update on their trip to Egypt ahead of their match this weekend.
The Brazilians are in Cairo for their Champions League first leg first round match against Al-Ahly SC Benghazi on Sunday.

Downs beat Equatorial Guinea's Leones Vegetarianos 7-1 on aggregate in the preliminary round of the competition to reach this stage.
Following the team's arrival in Cairo, goalkeeper Kennedy Mweene addressed the media about the trip, while also hinting on how much the PSL giants and former champions of the prestigious continental competition know about their opponents.

"I think the trip was good, it wasn't that long like we usually do. It was only from Johannesburg to Dubai, and from Dubai to Cairo. It was smooth. And coming to the game, I think we all know Al Ahly Benghazi are a good team and they've got a lot of players in the national team. It's not an easy or a walkover game we have. We know a couple of (their) players play in the national team, if not six, seven or eight of them. It's a very good team," the Zambian shot-stopper told the media.
The other Mzansi representatives in the competition, Orlando Pirates, will host Namibia's African Stars FC in their match at the Orlando Stadium on Saturday evening.
