The Brazilians will now return to league action next week, where they will come up against Baroka FC, before kicking off with round one of the CAF Champions League competition.
Indications are that the clash against Baroka FC will be Sundowns' final league fixture for the year as they focus all their attention on CAF football, although, the Brazilians will need to play catch up once the new year gets underway.
Sundowns are currently in third place on the Absa Premiership league standings, having played 11 games so far, three games less than Orlando Pirates, who are in first place.
However, Sundowns are no stranger to playing catch up with their domestic fixtures, having done so last season, while still being crowned Absa Premiership champions.
"So far so good, we are coping well, we have a good technical team, they try to manage us very well so, Ya we are coping, we have good numbers, we have enough depth to play all these games," Zwane told the media.
