Kaizer Chiefs Have Picked 24 Players For The CAF Confederation Cup

Left Out: Meyiwa (Injury)
Chiefs' CAF Squad Confirmed...
While Joseph Molangoane and Wiseman Meyiwa both missed out on a place in the squad, the reason for their absence is likely to be down to the fact that both are currently injured, and would not be featuring for Chiefs at this stage of the competition anyway.
Somewhat more surprising, though, is the fact that neither Gustavo Paez nor Bhongolethu Jayiya were named in the squad, while Kgotso Moleko's exclusion means that Ramahlwe Mphahlele is the only right back in the entire group.
It is worth noting that Chiefs will be able to add to their squad if they get to the group stages of the competition next year, however, three rounds of fixtures currently stand in the way of that potential eventuality.
Do you think Chiefs made a mistake leaving out any of these players?
There were no real shocks with regards to the names in Kaizer Chiefs' CAF Confederation Cup squad, however, there were a handful of players who surprisingly missed the cut.

All of the Amakhosi's big-name players are in the 24-man squad as Giovanni Solinas prepares to take on Zanzibar's Zimamoto in the preliminary round this week, with the likes of Khama Billiat and Co. likely to play a big role for the club in the competition.
