Mamelodi Sundowns team captain, Hlompho Kekana, has explained why he would love to meet the former Orlando Pirates players who lifted the CAF Champions League trophy.
Pirates were crowned CAF Champions League champions, after defeating ASEC Mimosas 3-2 on aggregate in 1995, becoming the first South African team to lift that prestigious trophy.

More than 20 years later, in 2016, Sundowns won the competition with a 3-1 aggregate victory over Zamalek, with many of the players still plying their trade in the Ka Bo Yellow colours.
Speaking to the media, Kekana, who was part of the Sundowns team who were crowned champions of Africa, explained that he would like to meet the former Pirates players who lifted the trophy in 1995, so he could get a feel of what it will be like one day when he looks back at all his accomplishments.
"I would love to meet the guys who won the Champions League for Orlando Pirates, just to check and get their feelings about winning the Champions League," he said.
"For me, I'm still playing right now, I don't know the feeling that I will have after I retire, because I remember, yesterday I posted a picture when I was with (Andres) Iniesta and Sibusisu Vilakazi was like no, this is a lifetime moment that will go in to history and I was like no Vila, it will mean a lot when we retire and we look back at things that we have done, because at the moment we can't see them because we are too busy as Sundowns."
"I remember when we won the Champions League today, tomorrow we are playing a match, so you don't really feel the importance of winning that trophy, you don't' celebrate enough."
"So, it will mean a lot for me to meet the Orlando Pirates guys because most of them I think all of them are retired so it would be nice to find out how they are feeling about their achievement," Kekana revealed.
