Three Banyana Banyana Players Included AWCON Team Of The Year

Janine Van Wyk and Jermaine Seoposenwe were named in the AWCON team of the tournament, while Nothando Vilakazi was named among the substitutes.

Desiree Ellis' finished the tournament in fourth spot, after losing to Ghana in their third/fourth play-off on Friday.

Despite missing out on the major prize, Van Wyk and Seoposenwe were named in the team of the Tournament, while Vilakazi was listed among the substitutes.

Cameroon's Gabrielle Onguene was named Player of the Tournament, while Nigeria star Asisat Oshoala won the Golden Boot with six goals.
