Banyana Banyana were in a rampant mood as they thumped Burkina Faso 4-0 in an international friendly at the Dobsonville Stadium.
The South Africans did most of the attacking in the early stages, but they were unable to take advantage of that dominance in the opening 20 minutes.
Banyana's dominance was eventually rewarded in the 30th minute when Lebohang Ramalepe's cross was turned home by a Burkina Faso defender.
Desiree Ellis' charges managed to carve out another chance in the 36th minute as Thembi Kgatlana played in Chantelle Essau, who failed to hit the target from close range.
Banyana managed to double their lead on the stroke of halftime courtesy of a strike from Leandra Smeda, 2-0.
The home side hardly threatened in the second half, as the visitors enjoyed most of the possession in the opening 15 minutes of the stanza.
However, Banyana extended their advantage in the 68th minute when Kgatlana headed into an empty net, after Janine Van Wyk's shot was blocked.
Kgatlana then got her second and Banyana's fourth goal two minutes later with a composed finish from close range.
Ellis' charges managed to see out the closing stages with relative ease as they ran out 4-0 winners on the day.
Here's how they lined up:
Banyana XI: Dlamini, Ramalepe, Vilakazi, Mbane, Van Wyk (C), Biyana, Sebati, Morifi, Smeda, Kgatlana, Esau.
