Tshegofatso Mabasa could only watch on from home as Bafana Bafana picked up four points out of a possible six in their CAF Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers; however, the striker is not losing sleep over his latest omission from Hugo Broos' squad.

Despite being the league's top goalscorer last season with 16 goals to his name, Mabasa has surprisingly been overlooked for Bafana Bafana's latest squad that did duty against Uganda and South Sudan respectively.
The 27-year-old however, does not have any gripe around being omitted but is biding his time until he is called up to serve his country once again.
"Like I've always said, 'when it's my time to be there, then I will be there'. Nothing will stop me from that," he told journalists at the Job Rathebe Secondary School In Soweto.
Mabasa has picked up from where he left off last season, having already netted in Pirates' MTN8 two-legged affair against Cape Town City and will be hoping to continue his goalscoring exploits for coach Jose Riveiro's side this season.
