In congratulating Bafana Bafana for their qualification, after Stuart Baxter's side defeated Libya 2-1 in their last qualifying match in Tunisia on Sunday, Jordaan also lauded the other four countries from the COSAFA region that have qualified for this year's AFCON.
Zimbabwe, Namibia, Angola and Madagascar are the other four countries from the COSAFA region that will join Bafana for the AFCON in Egypt later this year.
"The qualification of Bafana for the 2019 AFCON in Egypt was a significant achievement. Of course, we must also congratulate for the Southern African region or COSAFA, the highest number of countries from our region qualifying. We are joined by Zimbabwe, Namibia, Angola and Madagascar. So, from our region there will be five representatives," Jordaan told SAFA's website.
