Bafana Bafana Have Risen in The FIFA Rankings
Bafana Bafana's victory over Libya not only secured qualification for the 2019 African Cup of Nations but also helped them move up FIFA's world rankings for the first time this year. The victory in Sfax has seen Bafana move up in the rankings – even though it's just one place – into 73rd in the world, however, they do remain in 14th place in Africa sandwiched between Algeria and the Cape Verde Islands.
