Nkanyiso Nene Has Started Training With Kaizer Chiefs

Kaizer Chiefs have welcomed a new face at Naturena with the arrival of a new centre back who is looking to land himself a deal with the Glamour Boys.

Nkanyiso Nene, a 22-year-old centre back, was handed the opportunity of a lifetime via Nedbank's Ke Yona campaign, and will now get the chance to impress Giovanni Solinas and his technical staff at one of Mzansi's biggest clubs.

Nene, who was given the captain's armband during the Ke Yona team's clash with Free State Stars earlier this month, was photographed at Naturena with Chiefs players as he gets underway with his month-long trial and will be eager to make an immediate impact on his arrival.

Chiefs extended their unbeaten run in the Absa Premiership to seven games last night – their longest run in the league since February – and already have the likes of Daniel Cardoso, Siyabonga Ngezana and Mario Booysen among others for the central position, so it won't be an easy sell for the newcomer.
