The likes of Cape Town City, Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates are at risk of losing their most influential players to suspension, should they earn a yellow card in their respective fixtures.
City will face Baroka FC in the quarter-finals of the Telkom Knockout competition and they have seen Bhongolethu Jayiya and Vincent Kobola cautioned three times in the 2016/17 campaign, which means they are one booking away from a suspension.
Kaizer Chiefs' Willard Katsande has also picked up three yellow cards so far this season, and will miss one encounter if the player picks up a yellow card in any upcoming fixtures.

On the other side of Soweto, Thabo Matlaba will face suspension should the player be cautioned in upcoming games.
Jayiya, Kobola, Katsande and Matlaba are all regulars in the first team. However, the respective head coaches are likely to be faced with being without their services in at least one encounter.
However, should any of these players pick up a red card, the three yellow cards will fall away, and the cautioned player will have to serve the general two-match ban.
City, Chiefs and the Bucs will all be active in the Telkom Knockout competition this weekend.
