FC Barcelona were dumped out of the UEFA Champions League in embarrassing fashion after a 8-2 loss to Bayern Munich on Friday night.

Blaugrana manager Quique Setien made two changes as Antoine Griezmann and Ivan Rakitic dropped to the bench for Sergio Busquets and Arturo Vidal while Bayern were unchanged from the side that defeated Chelsea.
The Bavarians got off quick start as Thomas Muller grabbed the lead in the fourth minute after side-footing a left-footed strike into the bottom corner after combining with Robert Lewandowski.
Barca got back into the game three minutes later thanks to an own goal by David Alaba, whose attempted clearance from Jordi Alba's cross looped spectacularly over goalkeeper Manuel Neuer.
After Lionel Messi hit the upright, the German side went ahead in the 21st minute after Ivan Perisic drilled home a powerful strike straight through shot-stopper Marc-Andre ter Stegen after some good work by Serge Gnarby.
Gnabry then gave Bayern a two-goal advantage in the 27th minute with almost a similar goal as Perisic, as he went through on the right side of the box and kept his compsure to dispatch a low strike past ter Stegen.
Muller got the fourth goal for the Bavarians just after the half-hour mark with a first-time strike into the bottom corner after he was teed up by Joshua Kimmich to complete his brace.
After Lewandowski had a goal disallowed early in the second half, the Spanish side revived their hopes of a comeback just before the hour-mark after Suarez turned Boateng inside out and went clear inside the box to struck a low shot across Neuer to the bottom corner.
The Bavarians restored their three-goal cushion in the 63rd minute as Kimmich bagged the side's fifth goal with a close range finish off Alphonso Davies's cut-back.
Lewandowski finally got on the scoresheet with eight minutes left of the contest with a towering header at the back post from Philippe Coutinho's cross.
Coutinho added a seventh goal for Bayern against his parent club in the last five minutes with a sweeping strike at the near post, befor the Brazilian completed his brace with another low strike at the near post four minutes later to wrap up an 8-2 victory for the Bundesliga giants, who march on to the semi-finals.
