UEFA Champions League holders Bayern Munich maintained their winning start in Group A after defeating Lokomotiv Moscow.
Hans Flick made four changes to the Bayern side that thumped Eintracht Frankfut, as Lucas Hernanez replaced the injured Alphonso Davies while Benjamin Pavard Niklas Sule and Corentin Tolisso were re-called.
The Bavarians got off to the good start as Leon Gortezka opened the scoring on 13 minutes, with the returning Pavard picking up the assist.
After struggling to carve out chances in the first half, Moscow found an equaliser in the 70th minute thanks to Aleksei Miranchuk's neat finish.
However, Bayern weren't behind for too long as Joshua Kimmich collected a pass from Javi Martinez before finding the bottom corner with a volley from distance on 79 minutes to seal the win.
Inter Milan dropped points for a second straight game in Group B after a goalless draw at Shakhtar Donestk.
Stefan de Vrij, Ashley Young, Achraf Hakimi and Barella returned to the side after missing out at the weekend.
The hosts, however, were dealt a blow after 15 minutes when Dentinho, who scored against Real Madrid, was forced off with an injury and replaced by Taison.
Neither side were able to find the back of the net in the opening 45, with Lukaku going closest with a header midway through the half.
Lautaro Martinez should have given Inter the lead in the 54th minute but with the gaping, the Argentine skewed his effort wide of the mark.
Even with the introduction of Christian Eriksen and Ivan Perisic late on, Inter were unable to secure a win and now have two draws from their opening two games.
