The draw for the 2020/21 UEFA Champions League group stage took place in Geneva today, with Cristiano Ronaldo set to face Lionel Messi, and Manchester United being placed in a "Group of Death".

Messi and Ronaldo faced each other many times in El Clasicos during the latter's time with Real Madrid, but will now meet for the first time since the Portuguese joined Juventus.
In another tricky group, 2019/20 finalists Paris Saint-Germain were drawn alongside Manchester United, RB Leipzig and Turkish champions Istanbul Basaksehir.
Defending champions Bayern Munich will face Atletico Madrid, RB Salzburg and Lokomotiv Moscow, while 2018/19 winners Liverpool will take on Ajax Amsterdam, Atalanta and Midtjylland.

Group A: Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid, RB Salzburg, Lokomotiv Moscow
Group B: Real Madrid, Shakhtar Donetsk, Inter Milan, Borussia Monchengladbach
Group C: FC Porto, Manchester City, Olympiacos, Marseille
Group D: Liverpool, Ajax Amsterdam, Atalanta, Midtjylland
Group E: Sevilla, Chelsea, Krasnodar, Stade Rennes
Group F: Zenit St. Petersburg, Borussia Dortmund, Lazio, Club Brugge
Group G: Juventus, FC Barcelona, Dynamo Kyiv, Ferencvarosi
Group H: Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United, RB Leipzig, Istanbul Basaksehir
The first round of fixtures will be played on 20/21 October, while the group stage will conclude on 8/9 December.
This season's final will be hosted at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul on 29 May 2021.
