The Argentine netted in his third successive game in this year's group stages after scoring his side's first goal in their 2-1 win over Dynamo Kyiv on Wednesday, taking his 2020/21 UCL tally to three strikes.
All of his three goals have come from the penalty spot, helping FC Barcelona to a perfect start with three wins from three games in Group G.
As a consequence, Barca currently top their group with nine points, followed by second-placed Juventus who have six points.
Meanwhile, Ronaldo, who missed the Bianconeri's clash against the Catalan giants last week after testing positive for COVID-19, is yet to score in the 2020/21 UCL campaign.
Only four players have scored more goals than Messi in the competition so far this season, namely Erling Haaland, Diogo Jota, Alvaro Morata and Marcus Rashford, who have all netted four times.

Ronaldo, though, has won the tournament's Golden Boot more than any other player having lifted it seven times, followed by Messi who has claimed it on six occasions.
