Before half-time in Los Blancos' clash with Viktoria Plzen, midfielder Milan Havel had to be substituted off following a high elbow from the Real captain.
Havel's nose poured with blood almost immediately after the contact, and he could not continue.

Pundit Craig Burley was not amused with Ramos' challenge, labelling it a "disgrace".
"He did something similar in the Liverpool game to (Loris) Karius and it kind of seemed a bit innocuous at the time," he told ESPN.
"But the more you go over it, it's clearly something that he has a habit of doing.
"The very fact he wasn't challenging for an aerial duel as a centre-half would do with a striker and the fact he's coming over to block a guy running through, it's not a terrible situation and just to throw it (the elbow) in the guy's face, you know – I think it's a disgrace.
"Quite frankly, how this guy continues to get away with it, it beggars belief."
Barca Boss: Why Messi Didn't Play
Ramos did not get into trouble for his flailing elbow, and was substituted off by interim boss Santiago Solari in the 59th minute of the clash.
