In contrast to his recent comments about Manchester United, French superstar Paul Pogba has stated that Turin, where he used to live while playing for Juventus, is his "home".
The Red Devils will go up against the Bianconeri in the UEFA Champions League in Italy next week, a fixture that will see Pogba return to Turin for the first time since he left Juventus in 2016.
Asked if he was surprised United drew Juve in their UCL group this season, the 25-year-old said he actually anticipated the draw, before speaking about his excitement at returning to a place he feels home.
"I expected it, it was mad," Pogba told RMC.
"I'd spoken about it with my brother last summer. I said to him, 'Imagine we're in the same group as Juve'.
"For me, it's a pleasure. Turin is my home – that's where I scored my first professional goal."
