Manchester United's Paul Pogba was given the chance to show his talent in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night, but after missing a sitter and failing to have an impact on the game, a former Premier League player believes Jose Mourinho should not select him against Liverpool this weekend.

In the build-up to the Red Devils' clash with Valencia on Wednesday, Mourinho urged the Frenchman to show the world the quality he has.
Unfortunately for the 25-year-old, though, he was fairly anonymous in his team's 2-1 loss, and also missed a huge chance to equalise for his club in the first half.
Former Liverpool star Craig Bellamy, who now works as a pundit, has questioned whether Pogba is as good as many think, and believes he should not start against the Reds this coming Sunday.
"Pogba was poor again tonight," he said on Sky Sports' The Debate.
"Mourinho isn't getting the best out of Pogba, that's clear. There is a lack of interest from Pogba. His performance in Valencia was concerning.
"I'm not sure if he is as good as a lot of people make out.
"There's a massive game on Sunday. Liverpool versus Manchester United is the biggest game in the Premier League between the teams who have won the most trophies, an incredible fixture.
"If you're Mourinho, after Pogba's performance today, it will be very difficult to say he has to play. He has to leave him out again."
