A former Chelsea star has hailed Manchester United's Marcus Rashford as better than Neymar following the Englishman's impressive hat-trick against RB Leipzig on Wednesday night.
Rashford came off the bench in the second half at Old Trafford and took just 27 minutes to dismantle the German opposition.
Former Blues defender Jason Cundy was full of praise for the England forward after the match, and at the same time was scathing about Brazil star Neymar, whom he described as"overrated".
"Rashford was outstanding. He's a brilliant player, he's a brilliant young man. Yeah (he's world class), I'd have him over Neymar," he said, according to the Express.
"People talk to me about Neymar and I've had this argument for years now and I'll still have this argument – give me Sterling, give me Rashford over Neymar every single day of the week. He's overrated.
"I saw the performance last week against PSG, Rashford again, walks off with the prize. Neymar again, flattering to deceive."
Rashford has continued his hot form, having scored the winner in United's 2-1 triumph away at Paris Saint-Germain in their opening 2020/21 UEFA Champions League clash.
