GK: Roman Burki (Borussia Dortmund) – five saves and kept a clean sheet in 3-0 win over Monaco

Despite Neymar scoring two free-kicks in his hat-trick against Crvena Zvezda on Wednesday night, the Paris Saint-Germain star was quickly overshadowed by his former colleague Messi. The Argentine put in a display of the highest calibre, scoring a brace and playing a hand in the other two goals in FC Barcelona's 4-2 win over Tottenham Hotspur.

Paulo Dybala also shone for Juventus in Ronaldo's absence, while Roma striker Edin Dzeko was in ruthless form in their 5-0 win over Viktoria Plzen.
