The 20-year-old scored a brace in BVB's 3-0 win over Club Brugge on Tuesday, taking his tally in the competition to 16 strikes.
It was his first goal in that match that saw him write his name into the Champions league history book once again, becoming the fastest player to reach 15 strikes in the tournament.
Haaland needed only 12 games to score 15 times, breaking the previous record held by Ruud van Nistelrooy and Roberto Soldado, who both needed 19 matches.
In addition, the Dortmund striker is also far ahead of Ronaldo and Messi at the same stage of their careers, with the latter needing 29 appearances to hit 15 UCL goals, while it took Ronaldo 51 matches.
If Haaland continues to score at his current rate, he seems destined to overtake the Juventus superstar as the leading goalscorer in the competition's history.
