A Nigeria international was reportedly left out of Club Brugge's squad to face Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday because he did not agree with the seating arrangement on the team bus.
The Belgian club fell to a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Dortmund earlier this week, but were without Nigerian striker Emmanuel Dennis for the match for a seemingly bizarre reason.
Belgian publication Het Laatste Nieuws has reported that Dennis walked off the bus when he was told he was not allowed to sit where he pleased.
Brugge manager Philippe Clement revealed that the 23-year-old was left out for disciplinary reasons, but did not go into detail.
"He didn't follow the club's rules, that's all I want to say about that.
"I prefer to concentrate on the players who are available to me."
