Shock 'Pep Guardiola To Juventus' Claim Made

Shock 'Pep Guardiola To Juventus' Claim Made

It has been reported that Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has a agreed a shock deal with Italian giants Juventus, which would make the Spaniard the first boss in football to coach both Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

8 Managers Linked With Juventus

The Catalan tactician has been linked with the Italian giants in recent weeks, despite having rubbished the rumours himself on more than one occasion.

When Massimiliano Allegri was let go by Juve last Friday, Guardiola's name was again being thrown around, but he was quick to deny the reports.

"I'm not going to Juventus or to Italy. I have two more years here," he said, according to Give Me Sport.

"I'm not going to move, I'm satisfied here, I'm not going anywhere. Next season I will be manager of Manchester City."

Despite those remarks coming less than a week ago, it has now been sensationally claimed that Guardiola has made a dramatic U-turn on his decision.

According to Onda Cero, which cites Football Italia, the manager met with Juventus' chiefs in Italy on Tuesday.

Hours after the reported meeting, Italian journalist Federico Gennarelli, who works for Radio Sportiva, claimed that the boss has struck a deal with the Serie A champions.

The tweet translates to: "It was supposed to be the decisive day. It was: Pep #Guardiola will be the new coach of the Juventus. 4-year contract. Deal done."
