Napoli bounced back from last week's shock defeat to Cagliari with a 2-1 triumph over Brescia on Sunday afternoon. Dries Mertens opened the scoring for the home side after 13 minutes, before Kostas Manolas doubled the lead on the stroke of halftime. Mario Balotelli did pull one back from Brescia with his first of the season, but Napoli were able to see out the rest of the encounter to claim fourth spot.
AC Milan 1-3 Fiorentina AC Milan fell to a third successive defeat in Serie A following a 3-1 loss to Fiorentina at the San Siro. Erick Pulgar gifted the visitors the lead from the penalty spot on 14 minutes, before Gaetano Castrovilli doubled the lead after 66 minutes. Franck Riberty sealed the win for the visitors with 12 minutes remaining.
Milan finished the game with 10 men after Mateo Musacchio's dismissal on 55 minutes, while Rafael Leao bagged a consolation in the final 10 minutes. Lecce 0-1 AS Roma
AS Roma got back on the winning trail after securing a 1-0 win away to Lecce on Sunday afternoon. Edin Dzeko opened the scoring for the away side after 56 minutes, while Aleksander Kolarov missed a chance to double the lead after missing a penalty in the 80th minute.
Lazio 4-0 Genoa Lazio proved too strong for Genoa after romping to a 4-0 win at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday evening. The hosts raced into a two-goal lead in the first half through Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and ?tefan Radu, before Felipe Caicedo and Ciro Immobile rounded of the scoring in the second half.
