Serie A Wrap 20 April 2019

Inter Milan

Inter Milan 1-1 AS Roma

AS Roma missed the chance to move in to fourth spot following a 1-1 draw with Inter Milan at the San Siro.
Stephan El Shaarawy gave the visitors the lead after 14 minutes, but Inter needed a 61st minute strike from Ivan Perisic to salvage a point.   As a result, Roma remain in fifth spot, level on points with fourth-place while Inter are unchanged in third.
Parma 1-1 AC Milan   AC Milan failed to  maintain their stranglehold on fourth spot after drawing 1-1 with Parma on Saturday afternoon.   Samu Castillejo put the home side ahead after 69 minutes, but Bruno Alves restored parity for Parma with three minutes remaining in the second half.   Lazio 1-2 Chievo   Lazio's top-six hopes suffered a setback after going down 2-1 to Chievo at the Stadio Olimpico.   Emanuel Vignato and Perparim Hetemaj were on target for the visitors, while Felipe Caciedo netted a consolation for Lazio.
The home side also finished the game with 10 men after Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Luis Alberto were both shown red cards in the first and second half respectively.
Bologna 3-0 Sampdoria   Sampdoria's hopes of securing European football seem to be fading away following a 3-0 defeat to Bologna.   An own-goal from Lorenzo Tonelli gave Bologna the lead before Erick Pulgar and Riccardo Orsolini rounded off the scoring.
Other results:   Cagliari 1-0 Frosinone Udinese 1-1 Sassuolo Empoli 2-4 SPAL Genoa 0-1 Torino
