Serie A
Result: Juventus 2-1 Milan
Date: 06 April 2019
Venue: Allianz Stadium
Young striker Moise Kean came off the bench to rescue Juventus as they defeated AC Milan 2-1 in the Serie A on Saturday evening in Turin.
The Old Lady was once again without Cristiano Ronaldo, although the in-form Moise Kean was left on the bench despite his goal this week.
Both sides struggled to carve out any clear-cut openings, although the home side enjoyed more of the possession.
However, Juve were dealt a blow after 27 minutes when Emre Can was forced to go off due to injury. He was replaced by Sami Khedria.
The visitors then took the lead five minutes before the break as Krzysztof Piatek continued his fine form by firing home from close range after being picked out by Tiémoué Bakayoko.
Juve came out firing in the second half and they were duly rewarded on the hour mark when Paulo Dybala converted from the penalty spot after he was fouled in the box.
That was to be Dybala's last involvement as the Argentine forward made way for Kean in the 67th minute.
The decision to bring Kean on paid dividends as the Italy international collected a pass from Miralem Pjanic before firing past Pepe Reina.
Milan pushed for an equaliser in the closer in the closing stages, but Juve were solid enough to hold on for the win.
