Inter Milan

Inter Milan 2-1 Empoli    Inter Milan finished the season in fourth spot after a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Empoli, who were relegated as a result.   Keita Balde came off the bench to break the deadlock for Inter in the 51st minute and the hosts should have been 2-0 up ten minutes later as they were awarded a penalty but Mauro Icardi could not beat Empoli goalkeeper Bartlomiej Dragowski .   Hamed Traore gave the visitors hope with the equaliser 14 minutes before time but Radja Nainggolan restored the lead for Nerazzurri with nine minutes remaining.   Empoli's Filippo Perucchini received his marching  in the heat of the moment late in the game, while the hosts also had Balde sent off as they secured European football once again.   Atalanta 3-1 Sassuolo    Atalanta cruised to a 3-1 victory over nine-man Sassuolo as they secured UEFA Champions League football for the first time in their history.   Domenico Berardi opened the scoring for Sassuolo in the 19th minute but only for Duvan Zapata to equalise for the hosts ten minutes before the break.   The turning point of the match late in the first half when Berardi was sent off for Sassuolo, before Atalanta netted two goals in the second stanza through Alejandro Gomez and Mario Pasalic.   The visitors were reduced to nine men with seven minutes remaining after Francesco Magnanelli was sent off, but the damage was already done as the hosts clinched third place on the table.   Cagliari 1-2 Udinese    Sebastien De Maio netted late to hand Udinese a 2-1 victory over Cagliari on Sunday evening.   Leonardo Pavoletti drew first blood for Cagliari in the 17th minute but Emil Hallfredsson levelled matters for the visitors just before the hour-mark and De Maio found the winner for Udinese with 21 minutes remaining.   Fiorentina 0-0 Genoa    Genoa escaped relegation by the skin of their teeth after playing to a goalless draw with Fiorentina on Sunday evening.   Genoa finished fourth-from bottom while Fiorentina ended up in 16th place with 41 points.   AS Roma 2-1 Parma    Roma had to settle for UEFA Europa League qualifiers' spot despite beating Parma 2-1 on Sunday evening.   Lorenzo Pellegrini broke the deadlock for the hosts ten minutes before the break and Gervinho levelled matters for Parma four minutes before time.   However, Diego Perotti found the winner for Claudio Ranieri's charges, who said their goodbyes to Daniele de Rossi who will be leaving the club.   SPAL 2-3 AC Milan    AC Milan missed out on the top four,  despite a 3-2 victory over SPAL on Sunday evening.   Franck Kessie got a brace for the Rossoneri while Hakan Calhanoglu was also on the scoresheet for Gennaro Gattuso's men    Francesco Vicari and Mohamed Fares were on target for SPAL, but Milan held on for the win, but had to settle for fifth place.
