'Ronaldo Wants Real Star At Juve'

Cristiano Ronaldo has informed James Rodriguez that he wants him to move to Juventus, according to Bayern Munich legend Lothar Matthaus.   Read: Official: Real Announce Fifth 2019/20 Signing, Spending Tops €300m   Rodriguez spent the last two seasons on loan at the Bavarians, although the Colombian has returned to Madrid after the German outfit decided against a permanent move.   Ronaldo, meanwhile, only landed the Serie A and Italian Super Cup titles in his first season and is reportedly hoping Juve bring in new players to bolster the squad.   Matthaus believes Rodriguez could end up at the Old Lady and reunite with the five-time Ballon d'Or, who he played with at Los Blancos.   "We (Matthaus and Rodriguez) had a conversation two weeks ago, during the celebration of Bayern's Bundesliga win," Matthaus told AS .   "I see him at Juventus .   "He is very close to Cristiano Ronaldo and told me that he was in contact with him and that he has told him that he wants to have him at Juventus.   "I understand why as James can serve Ronaldo so that he can score and the two of them can shine."   Read: Transfers Already Confirmed For Next Season   Do you think James would be a good addition for Juventus?
