Nerazzurri have announced the free agent signing of Uruguayan international Diego Godin, whose contract in Italy will run until June 2022.
The centre-back confirmed towards the end of this last season that he would be moving on, and he has now found his next destination.

The 33-year-old is widely recognised as one of the best defenders in Europe in recent years, with Atleti being the club he grew his reputation at.

Godin joined Los Rojiblancos from Villarreal in 2010, and leaves after 389 appearances and seven trophies, including a LaLiga title.
