Inter Milan's activity in the transfer window reached new heights on Tuesday when the Serie A giants completed three deals on the same day, including the arrival of Christian Eriksen and the departure of two highly-rated players.

Antonio Conte's side completed arguably the biggest deal of the window after announcing the arrival of Eriksen from Tottenham Hotspur, with the Denmark international joining for a reported fee of around £16.9 million (R320 million).

That move opened the door for Matteo Politano to leave the club for Napoli on an 18-month loan deal, which includes an obligation on Gennaro Gattuso's side to make the move permanent for around £21 million (R397 million).
Inter also offloaded Brazil star Gabriel Barbosa, commonly known as Gabigol, to Flamengo for £14.3 million (R270 million). The 23-year-old scored 43 goals in 59 appearances on loan at the South American side last season, which prompted the club to complete a four-year deal.

Tuesday's Eriksen deal added to the previous arrivals of Ashely Young, from Manchester United, and Victor Moses, on loan from Chelsea, as Conte's side look to break Juventus' eight-year hold of the Serie A title.
