Paolo Aicardi, Juve's club shareholders' president, has insisted that Ronaldo's arrival in Turin has opened the door for more superstars to follow suit, as proved by the signing of Matthijs de Ligt in the most recent transfer window.

"Today everything is possible, and the signing of (Matthijs) De Ligt is proof of that. Our next idea is to sign the new Cristiano Ronaldo, but a younger version."
