Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has broken his silence regarding the future of midfielder Isco.
The Spaniard has been in the headlines in recent weeks as he has found himself slipping down the pecking order at Real Madrid.
Last month, he was caught complaining about Zidane due to his lack of playing time, and he has since reportedly informed the club of his intention to leave.
Everton were credited with planning a swoop for the star, after luring James Rodriguez from the Santiago Bernabeu in the previous window, but Toffees coach Carlo Ancelotti denied the rumours.
When asked about the Isco saga during a pre-match press conference ahead of Los Blancos' UEFA Champions League clash with Inter Milan on Wednesday, Zidane provided an update on the situation.
"Isco is our player, but I don't know how long for, although he is ours," the Frenchman responded, according to Football Espana.
"We are happy like this, we are happy with him. He is our player."
Isco has enjoyed just 29 starts in 85 LaLiga matches since the start of the 2018/19 season, and his father has already claimed that, although he would consider staying at Real, he is interested in trying out a different league.
