Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos has revealed where he wishes to hang up his boots when he deems his playing days over.
It has been six years since the 30-year-old left Bayern Munich to join the Spanish giants, going on to established himself as one of the best midfielders in world football.
Kroos, who has lifted 13 pieces of silverware – including two LaLiga and three UEFA Champions League titles – with Los Blancos, has now confirmed that he wishes to end his career at the club.
"I want to retire at Real Madrid, I am happy here," he said, according to Marca.
"I always like to go back to Germany, it is my country, my language. But I really enjoy living and playing in Madrid.
"In six years, there are always offers, but I did not speak to anyone because I am happy and my idea is to finish here."
The 2014 FIFA World Cup winner has represented Los Blancos on 283 occasions to date, scoring 19 goals and assisting a further 68 strikes along the way.
