New reports suggest that Kylian Mbappe wants a unique clause in any contract extension he signs with Paris Saint-Germain.
There has been a lot of speculation regarding PSG's two top stars, Neymar and Mbappe. The Brazilian recently announced that he intends to stay at the club, and hopes that his French teammate will do the same.
Real Madrid have long been admirers of former AS Monaco striker Mbappe, but financial constraints after the coronavirus pandemic will make it difficult for the Spanish giants to pull off any big-money moves.
Los Blancos are also in the process of renovating the Santiago Bernabeu, adding further pressure on their finances.
According to Diario AS, Les Parisiens have offered Mbappe a new contract that matches Neymar's annual salary of €37 million (R660 million), which is a significant increase on the France international's current deal.
However, it is also claimed that his contract could have a release clause in it allowing him to sign for Real at a later stage.
As it stands, the Spanish giants reportedly have a cap on their wages, and would only be able to match Mbappe's current salary.
