Los Blancos confirmed the sale of Oscar Rodriguez to Sevilla on the weekend, with the attacking midfielder joining the LaLiga side for a reported fee of €13.5 million (R267 million).
The 22-year-old was Real's second-most expensive sale in the window so far, with Achraf Hakimi having joined Inter Milan for €40 million (R790 million).
Rodriguez was the club's eighth departure of the window, but the clearout does not seem to be finished amid difficult financial times due to the coronavirus pandemic.
COVID-19 hit Real in the middle of their expensive Santiago Bernabeu revamp, which leaves little room for signings in the current window.

As a consequence, more players are on the club's transfer list, with James Rodriguez expected to be the next departure.
The 29-year-old was allowed to stay absent from training on Monday in order to finalise his transfer to Premier League side Everton, where he will reunite with former Los Blancos coach Carlo Ancelotti.
Another player close to completing a move away from Madrid is Dani Ceballos. The 24-year-old is set to return to Arsenal, but his renewed loan will not include a purchase option, according to Fabrizio Romano.
