Real Madrid have reportedly made contact with a potential Arsenal target in a bid to convince the player to snub the Premier League side and join them in LaLiga.
According to AS, Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has had a telephone conversation with Hungarian midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai.
The French tactician reportedly used the conversation to convince the promising attacker to choose the Santiago Bernabeu as his next destination, with the player said to be considering leaving Red Bull Salzburg in January.
Along with Arsenal, Salzburg's sister club RB Leipzig are also said to be interested in the playmaker.
Having already seen the likes of Naby Keita, Marcel Sabitzer and Dayot Upamecano move between the two clubs, the player is believed to be open to continuing his progression away from the spotlight.
Szoboszlai has been involved in 17 goals in 18 games for Salzburg so far this season, and it is claimed that Zidane sees the midfielder as an ideal replacement for Isco, who has fallen out of favour under the Frenchman.
Szoboszlai has also already been compared to a former Real Madrid legend, and countryman, Ferenc Puskas.
