During the off-season, the Welsh attacker called time on his illustrious nine-year spell at Real Madrid when he left the Santiago Bernabeu to join Major League Soccer club Los Angeles FC in the US.
At Los Blancos, the 33-year-old accumulated an envious trophy haul that includes three successive Champions League triumphs and three LaLiga titles as he found the back of the net 106 times for Real.
Despite this, the end of his time with the club was a toxic one, with many criticising the winger for a perceived lack of commitment to the Spanish giants.
Keen to still represent his country at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Bale left Los Blancos following the expiry of his contract and moved across the Atlantic Ocean to ply his trade in the MLS, and according to him, he is loving life in the City of Angels.
"It's nice to be playing, nice to kind of just be in a place where I feel wanted and just enjoy myself now," the Wales captain said, as per Goal.
"The plan is just to be 100% to help LAFC first and foremost.
"Ultimately, that will lead into me being 100% fit for the World Cup."
Having played minimal football in the past couple of years and suffering from persistent injuries, Bale is seemingly being bedded into LAFC's starting XI slowly, with the Cardiff-born footballer yet to play a full match for his side, and only scoring two goals in the 11 games he has featured in so far.

Wales' upcoming UEFA Nations League matches against Belgium and Poland will be a good litmus test for the Dragons and Bale as they look forward to competing in their first World Cup since 1958 later this year.
