Amid new rumours linking Neymar with a return to FC Barcelona, the Brazilian superstar is reportedly set to be offered a whopping new contract that includes a record salary from Paris Saint-Germain.

The 28-year-old's future in France remains uncertain, with Barcelona still interested in bringing him back to the Camp Nou despite failing to do so in the previous transfer window.
However, PSG are said to be prepared to fight the Blaugrana off once again and are keen to offer Neymar a new record salary to persuade to stay at the Parc des Princes.

The skilful forward is already the highest-paid player in Ligue 1, pocketing a reported €36 million (R735 million) annually, but PSG sporting director Leonardo is understood to be preparing a new deal worth €38 million (R776 million) a year, according to Sport.
The improved contract would be the highest-ever in Ligue 1 history, and is intended to show the superstar how much those in charge at club value him.
His current contract is set to expire in June 2022, but the new offer could extend his stay until 2025.

Neymar has made 80 appearances for PSG thus far, scoring 69 goals and assisting 39 further strikes, which means he is involved in 1.35 goals per game for the French giants.
