Arsenal star Mesut Özil recently named his ultimate dream team, leaving FC Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi out of the frame.

The German World Cup winner named a host of former Real Madrid teammates in his dream team, including Manchester United target, Sergio Ramos, as well as superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo.
Özil never included Messi in his ultimate team, as it may have been because he's played with all of the stars that he named. The midfielder sprung a surprise in the number 10 position, selecting Serge Gnabry behind the forward.

Özil joined Arsenal from Real in 2013, where he has scored 12 goals in 72 games and assisted a further 23 times.
