With Lionel Messi's future unclear at the moment, the FC Barcelona superstar has now named two teams he would not join if he does decide to leave the Catalan club.
The Argentine will enter the final six months of his contract on 1 January, which would allow him to start talking other clubs in Europe.
In an interview with La Sexta last weekend, Messi spoke about a number of issues, including his future, and revealed that if he does decide to leave the Camp Nou, he will not be considering a move to either Real Marid or Atletico Madrid.
"I'm not going to join Real Madrid or Atletico Madrid. It's absolutely impossible. I don't know if I'll leave Barca, I'll talk about it at the end of the season. I hope to be part of Barcelona as a club also when I'll retire," Messi said.
Messi added that he would like to play in Major League Soccer in the future.
"I always said that I have the impression that I would like to enjoy the experience of living in the United States, of living in that league and that life, but if it happens or not, I don't know."
