New Paris Saint-Germain signing Kylian Mbappe has revealed who he hopes will win the next Ballon d'Or title.
Is This Why Messi Hasn't Signed New Barca Deal?
Speaking after his recent move to the French giants, Mbappe insisted he will not be after the Ballon d'Or prize, but that he will be trying everything he can to help Neymar win the accolade.
"I already have a teammate who can win it," he told Le Parisien.
"So, individually, my goal is to score a lot of goals and help Neymar.
"He can help us raise a lot of trophies, so we have to take care of him. I will do everything to help him win this Ballon d'Or.
"It would make me happy if I could help him like that."
Dembele: When I Realised Messi Wasn't Human
The Ballon d'Or has been dominated by Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi over the past nine years, with the Portuguese winning it four times, and the Argentine claiming it on five occasions.
