The ex-Roma star will reportedly earn €7.5 million (R19 million) annually over a four-year period in LaLiga, a salary that is believed to make him only the 15th highest-paid player at the Camp Nou.
Superstar and captain Messi is said to earn €70.7 million (R1.3 billion) a year in Spain, while Griezmann is paid €45.8 million (R884 million) annually.
Uruguayan stalwart Luis Suarez is also among the top earners, as is Brazil midfielder Philippe Coutinho, who spent the campaign on loan in Germany with Bayern Munich.
