The Portuguese forward started the 2014/15 campaign in possibly the best form of his life, but his recent goal rut has earned him criticism from fans and pundits alike - with things going as far as discussing a move away from Real Madrid.
In the first 26 games of Cristiano Ronaldo's season for Los Blancos, the number seven had scored 31 goals, which earned him an average of 1,19 goals per game, according to AS.
However, since the turn of the year, the 30-year-old has only managed to find the net nine times in 14 games, which has seen the ratio drop to 0,64 goals per game.
The dramatic decline is almost a 50% difference, and it has raised questions from the fans as to whether the Ballon d'Or player is happy at Los Blancos.
The former Manchester United star was visibly irritated in his side's last win, showing what appeared to be frustration when Gareth Bale scored two goals that Ronaldo could have scored himself, after failing at both attempts.
Ronaldo was also overtaken by Barcelona's Lionel Messi in the scoring charts, a lead that the Portugal captain held for over 13 weeks of La Liga football, but with the El Clasico nearing, he will be looking to reverse his fortunes.
Overall this season, Ronaldo has scored 41 goals in 39 games, while he's assisted 21 times for his teammates.
