The ex-United captain was on media duty at the Emirates Stadium on the weekend as he watched his former side lose following two stoppage-time goals.
According to the Daily Mail, Keane found himself in a scuffle as he and his colleague Micah Richards were waiting for an elevator to get back up to the studio where they were working as pundits.
An Arsenal fan allegedly attempted to headbutt the ex-midfielder, catching him on the chin and chest before being restrained by Richards.
In a video clip that has gone viral on social media, the former Manchester City defender can be seen pinning the man up against a wall.
