Much was expected from the English winger when he made his big-money arrival at Old Trafford in 2021 following his scintillating form in the Bundesliga.
However, since making his way to United, the 23-year-old has failed to replicate the form he showcased during his time at Borussia Dortmund.
The England international is currently embroiled in a public spat with his manager, and, according to Sky Sports Germany, he is on the verge of calling time on his United career.
The news outlet has reported that Sancho is likely to leave in January, albeit on a loan, presumably because of his enormous wages with the Red Devils.
A return to Signal Iduna Park has been mooted as the London native's likeliest next destination as the same report claims that the skilful attacker has been in constant contact with BVB head coach Edin Terzic, but a reappearance with the Yellow Wall seems improbable at this stage.

During Terzic's first stint as interim head coach of Dortmund, Sancho was able to score 13 goals and 13 assists in 23 matches, and while there are doubts he will return to the Bundesliga club, it is said to be an option that has not been 100% excluded by all parties involved.
