However, attacking midfielder Donny van de Beek is also expected to be on his way out next month after failing to get regular minutes this season.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Juventus are now looking at signing both Sancho and Van de Beek when the transfer window opens next month.
Juventus are keen to bolster their midfield options, having lost both Paul Pogba and Nicolo Fagioli to lengthy suspensions for alleged doping and gambling respectively.
Van de Beek recently said he will seek another challenge if his current situation does not change.
"The time comes when a decision has to be made," the Dutch midfielder said, as per the Sun.
"I have to start playing games very soon, if it's not possible at United, then I will go to another club.
"I think this is a healthy ambition. I make a good living at United, but money has never been my motivation."
