Wantaway Mario Balotelli Reports To Former Club, Trains Alone

Wantaway Italy striker Mario Balotelli has returned to his former club to train alone as his potential transfer to a Ligue 1 side has seemingly fallen through.

Reports: Real Reach Deal For Chelsea Star

The 27-year-old, who has played for the likes Liverpool, Inter Milan and Manchester City previously, returned to Nice after contract talks with Marseille reportedly broke down.

Balotelli, who is now a free agent, has come under fire from new Nice coach Patrick Vieira this month after the player failed to report for training thinking that his deal to the Stade Velodrome club would be finalised.

The Italian signed a one-year contract with Nice at the beginning of last season, and despite being out of contract, the club has insisted they will not allow the wantaway forward to leave for free.

The former AC Milan star is reportedly training alone for the moment, and does not intend to stay at Les Aiglons.

Balotelli has somewhat rebuilt his reputation after a disappointing few years in England and his home country, having scored 43 goals in 66 appearances for Nice.
