French giants Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly ready to make a shock move for an African star who currently plays in the second tier of English football.
De Gea Unhappy With Contract Offer, Wants Sanchez Pogba-like Wages
According to The Sun, the Ligue 1 champions are plotting a bid for Stoke City attacker Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting.
The forward joined the Potters this time last season, but it has now been claimed the club, which was relegated to the English Championship after the 2017/18 campaign, are looking to offload the player due to his high wages.
It is believed that Choupo-Moting earns about £60 000 (R1.1 million) a week at Stoke, a salary the club feel they can no longer afford to pay.
PSG are reportedly considering a move for the former Schalke player, who will turn 30 years old in March next year.
Zidane To Reunite With Ronaldo?
