A Paris Saint-Germain star has reportedly been told to lose weight if he wants to remain in the plans of new coach Thomas Tuchel next season.

Tuchel was named as PSG's new manager following the departure of Unai Emery at the end of last season.
According to Italian publication Calcio Mercato, Tuchel has told star midfielder Marco Verratti to slim down if he wants to part of the first team plans next season.
Verratti is currently on holiday as Italy did not qualify for the 2018 World Cup, which is currently underway in Russia.
The same report claims Tuchel was assessing all of the players' weight on his arrival to the French capital.

Verratti made 33 appearances for the Ligue 1 champions last season, registering two goals and five assists.
