Thomas Tuchel's PSG lost 3-1 to Bayern Munich in a recent pre-season friendly, and despite not having most of their biggest stars available for that match, the club are believed to be concerned by an apparent lack of depth in the playing squad.
According to Sport and Le Parisien, manager Tuchel is considering moves for Chelsea centre-back Antonio Rudiger and Bayern Munich midfielder Renato Sanches.
The German defender would be brought in as central defensive cover, but he has four years left on his Chelsea contract, and there is no indication that new Blues boss Maurizio Sarri wants him gone.
The Portuguese midfielder has struggled over the past two seasons, after bursting on to the scene at Benfica in the 2015/16 campaign. Sanches played just 15 times for loan club Swansea in 2017/18, but has since returned to Bayern.
New Bavarians boss Niko Kovac appears to have Sanches in his plans ahead of the new campaign, although the German giants are reportedly not against letting him leave.
Tuchel is also said to be after Borussia Dortmund midfielder Julian Weigl, who is believed to be considering a move away from the Bundesliga.
